Biden’s Ambassador In Hot Water For Photo With Man Dressed As A Suicide Bomber

(Republican Party News) – One of the things that has become abundantly clear over the course of the last year is that the members of the Biden administration are not the sharpest tools in the shed, including Biden himself.

There are plenty of examples that could illustrate what is meant by that remark, but as it turns out, one of Biden’s ambassadors having to clarify that they do not support suicide bombers is pretty close to the top of the list of most idiotic incidents to come out of this administration.

And that’s saying a lot.

According to the Western Journal, in 2006, Amy Gutmann was serving as the president of the University of Pennsylvania. Apparently, during a Halloween party that was hosted in her home, she took a photo with a student who was dressed up as a terrorist.

Gee, what great taste and creativity in costumes, right?

Well, the photo has made its way on to the Internet after Gutmann was approved by the Senate back on February 8 to be President Joe Biden’s official ambassador to the nation of Germany.

“According to a Jerusalem Post article from 2006, Gutmann only issued an apology after days of growing controversy over the costume worn by the Syrian-born engineering student,” the report said.

Gutmann put out a statement saying, “I abhor terrorism, suicide bombers and everything they do. My record is unabashedly clear on this point.”

Makes you wonder what in the world the individual who made the decision for Biden to nominate this woman was thinking. And with all of the evidence clearly pointing to our “commander-in-chief” having some issues with his mental faculty, you can be assured it wasn’t him calling the shots on this nomination.

However, let’s apply a little grace to the situation and note that Gutmann, who attended her party dressed as Glinda the Good Witch from “The Wizard of Oz,” was doing a lot of mingling at the very busy event when the picture was taken.

And, to be fair, the very tasteless costume of the young man in the picture was not within her control. Gutmann has come out and said the student in the photo has issued an apology to her for the incident, according to a report from the Jerusalem Post.

While she might not have done anything wrong during the moment when the photograph was taken, the incident does raise some questions.

Why did it take her days to respond to the photo and acknowledge how bad it was? A student seemed to know it would be acceptable for him to show up dressed in this costume. What, exactly, does that say about Gutmann’s reputation and her judgment?

“The Hill reported that, while Gutmann was in charge of Penn, Joe Biden was appointed the Benjamin Franklin Presidential Professor of Practice at the university. Biden was paid over $900,000 while he held the position,” the WJ report stated.

“In a letter, Republican senators questioned whether this was a quid pro quo deals that led to her ambassadorship. Biden is infamous for alleged bribery,” the report continued. “There were also concerns raised about Chinese donations to the school, according to The Hill. Gutmann denied any wrongdoing.”

This is just another in a long line of horrendously bad personnel choices made by the current administration.

“In January Sam Brinton was given the weighty title of Deputy Assistant Secretary of Spent Fuel and Waste Disposition in the Office of Nuclear Energy for the Department of Energy. Brinton claimed to be the first gender-fluid person in federal leadership,” the report added.

Imagery of Brinton was revealed on social media outlets showing him in a series of sickening outfits.

These are the people running our country, folks. Be afraid. Be very afraid.
