BREAKING: Amazon Gets Green Light For Its ‘Tower Of Babel’ HQ

(Republican Party News) – Liberals seem to be an inexhaustible well of bad ideas. Just when you think there’s no possible way the stupidity of these people could possibly get any worse, they say, “hold my beer.”

According to a new report from WND, Amazon’s plans to build a helix shaped “Tower of Babel” to be the centerpiece in the company’s forthcoming second headquarters to be based in northern Virginia has officially been given the stamp of approval by the Arlington County Board.

The online retail giant first announced plans for the new headquarters back in February of 2021, showcasing the 350-foot tower to be the featured item at its new offices. The building will house more than 25,000 workers once completed.

What is striking folks as odd about the whole thing is how it seems to have a very close resemblance to the Tower of Babel from the Old Testament (screenshot here). The structure in the pages of Scriptures was an attempt by mankind to try and reach the heavens and essentially showcase that man did not need God. It was essentially humanity attempting to be their own “god.”

God then confused the languages of mankind and scattered them over the earth. This is found in the eleventh chapter of Genesis.

“People working there might get the feeling they’re on a mountain hike, as the spiral design includes a walkable ramp that slithers around the edifice with plenty of trees and greenery to complete the scene,” the WND story said.

Fox Business then stated in its own report, “Amazon has said the building is designed to help people connect to nature, and the outdoor mountain climb will be open to the public on weekends.”

“Since then, the plans have gone through the famously thorough review process of Arlington County, including numerous public hearings. Earlier this month, the county planning commission voted 9-0 to support the project,” the story continued.

“On Saturday, the County Board voted 5-0 to approve the plans. They also include park space and will accommodate a community high school, along with ground level retail,” Fox Business reported.

“Amazon has said it hopes to complete the project in 2025,” Fox Business said. “Because skyscrapers are banned in the District of Columbia, and the Amazon buildings will be among the tallest in Arlington County, from some vantage points the helix will dominate the region’s skyline like no building other than the Washington Monument.”

So why in the world would the radical left think making a building like this would be a good idea? It didn’t work out too well for humanity during their first attempt at a tower like this, so why try it again?

Of course, it doesn’t seem likely that Amazon is actually attempting to reach the heavens, but why tempt fate?

At the end of the day, if there was some sort of influence from the Tower of Babel, making a headquarters like this seems to be mocking the biblical account. And from what we see in the pages of Scripture, God will not be mocked.
