(Republican Party News) – Back in July, there was a report from the Gateway Pundit that confirmed Ashli Babbitt’s shooter was Lt. Mike Byrd of the Capitol Police.
In other words, Byrd is responsible for killing Ashli Babbitt in cold blood back on Jan. 6, 2021 inside the U.S. Capitol building.
For those who might not remember, as the media has done a good job of burying the story, Ashli Babbitt was a Trump supporter as well as a veteran of the U.S. military. She was found to be unarmed and was no threat whatsoever to the police or anyone else who was present at the protest. There were several police officers all around her when she was shot without any sort of just cause.
According to the Gateway Pundit, Byrd was exonerated of the shooting back in August for murdering Ashli Babbitt. The man gave her no warning and then he fled from the scene of the shooting, plus he fired on an unarmed woman who was not posing any sort of physical threat.

And let’s face it, the media would have been all over this had Babbitt been black and a part of Black Lives Matter and the police officer had been white. If BLM would have taken action like some of these violent protesters, they would have been hailed as heroes.
What’s really disgusting is that Byrd isn’t just walking free, but that he somehow managed to raise up $122,000 on a GoFundMe campaign after he murdered Babbitt in cold blood.
“On Monday Judicial Watch revealed that they have received multiple audio, visual and photo records from the DC Metropolitan Police Department about the shooting death of Ashli Babbitt,” the GP report said.
The records include a new cell phone video, which was edited by the DC police, that shows the police reacting to the shooting. There is also an audio recording of an interview of Lt. Michael Byrd by the DC Metropolitan Police on January 6, 2021. The voices in these audio recordings are all digitally altered in order to hide their identities.

“The documents also include photos of the area where Babbitt was killed and DC police photographs of Lt. Byrd, his hands, and his gun. The photos also include pictures of a folding knife reportedly found in Babbitt’s pocket,” the report said.
Other audio interviews of witnesses to the incident provide first-hand accounts of what transpired.

“Last month, also as a result of this lawsuit, Judicial Watch released records from the DC Police about the shooting death of Babbitt, showing that multiple officers claimed they didn’t see a weapon in Babbitt’s hand before Byrd shot her, and Byrd was visibly distraught afterward. One officer attested that he didn’t hear any verbal commands before Byrd shot Babbitt. Today’s records include audio recordings of these witness interviews. The records also include internal communications about Byrd’s case and a crime scene examination report,” the report stated.
This report featured a story concerning Aaron Babbitt, the husband of Ashli Babbitt, when he appeared on Tucker Carlson’s Fox News program where he issued a response to an interview from MSNBC with the murderer of his wife, Lt. Michael Byrd.
“During the interview with Byrd, he stated that he saved ‘countless lives’ by murdering Babbitt, who was unarmed. He then started to whine that he’s been receiving death threats since the shooting happened. He then stated it was ‘disheartening’ and stated he was just ‘doing my job.’
Aaron Babbitt did not waste any time issuing a response to the officer, stating he needs to “suck it up.”

“I don’t even want to hear him talk about how he’s getting death threats and he’s scared,” Aaron Babbitt went on to say passionately. “I’ve been getting death threats since Jan. 7 — two, three, five, 10 a day — and all I did on Jan. 6 was become a widower. So, you’re going to have to suck it up, bud, and take it.”

“Tucker Carlson also noted that Byrd is the same officer who previously left his loaded weapon in a bathroom at the Capitol building in 2019,” the report from GP went on to state.

This whole thing is a miscarriage of justice. Lt. Byrd should be in a prison cell right now for the murder of an unarmed woman. He used excessive force that was uncalled for. Let’s hope the Babbitt family gets some kind of closure over what happened to Ashli.
