(Republican Party News) – A new report from The Western Journal has revealed that just a few days after House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s husband, Paul Pelosi, was arrested for a DUI, information has come to light concerning a fatal car crash from his past.
According to a piece from the UK’s Daily Mail, Paul Pelosi was in a car accident 65 years ago. He was only 16 years old at the time and was a sophomore in high school. The incident took place in February of 1957 when Pelosi was cruising around in his sports car.
He had just picked up his 19-year-old brother, David Pelosi, from his girlfriend’s house, when the pair decided it was a good time for a “joyride.”
To all the young bucks who might come across this piece. It’s never a good time to go for a reckless drive, as you not only endanger your own life, but that of others on the road.
“In an excerpt from a February 23, 1957, edition of the San Francisco Examiner obtained by the Daily Mail, Patrolman Thomas Ganley said David warned his brother of upcoming danger before the accident,” the report stated.
“This is a bad stretch – better slow down,” David allegedly told Paul as they came closer to a sharp curve near a dam.
“After the accident, Ganley said Paul told him he tried to slow down by shifting gears in the car. Instead, he completely lost control of the vehicle,” the report continued.
“The car veered across the road, bounced back from a small embankment, climbed 20 feet up another, spun around and somersaulted simultaneously and ended upside down on the shoulder with both youths underneath,” the Examiner went on to say in the excerpt.
According to the report from the Daily Mail, Paul suffered a broken collar bone in the accident, but was eventually able to get himself free of the vehicle and make a call for help. When responders arrived on the scene, they discovered David with a neck brace lodged tightly against his neck.
“According to an excerpt from The San Mateo Times also obtained by the Daily Mail, the brace was because of an injury David had sustained when diving into shallow water at Lake Tahoe. Ganley and another patrolman were unable to save David’s life,” the Western Journal reported.
“They jacked up the car to relieve the pressure but the youth apparently was already dead,” the Times excerpt went on to say.
“This Saturday, the now 82-year-old Paul Pelosi was arrested for driving with a blood-alcohol level over .08 percent, Fox News reported. Police became aware of his blood alcohol level following a crash,” the WJ report stated.
“Pelosi’s 2021 Porsche was reportedly struck by a 2014 Jeep near State Route 29 in Napa County, California. Neither man was injured in the crash, and only Pelosi was arrested, the Daily Mail reported,” the WJ said.
Pelosi has been charged with two misdemeanors relating to drunk driving in connection with the incident. He was officially booked into the Napa Valley Detention Center at 4:13 a.m. on Sunday morning.
Speaker Pelosi’s husband then posted $5,000 bail at around 7:26 a.m. and was then released from jail.
According to a report from the Daily Mail, Paul Pelosi was also cited in two separate traffic related incidents that took place in 2011.
One of the incidents involved Pelosi running a red light, while the other involved his vehicle veering into the wrong lane.
“Establishment media outlets attempted to blame Republicans for reacting too harshly to Pelosi’s arrest. Newsweek even ran an article with the headline, ‘MAGA Republicans Pounce After Nancy Pelosi’s Husband Arrested for DUI,'” the report said.
But as more information comes to light, it’s become obvious that Paul Pelosi has a rather lengthy history of unsafe driving, therefore, you can’t blame the GOP for asking questions concerning his behavior.
