(Republican Party News) – California authorities have released the mugshot of a drunken Paul Pelosi which was taken last month after an accident which resulted in Pelosi being arrested on drunk driving charges.
Paul Pelosi, as you know, is the husband of Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi.
While the mugshot has been released, authorities are not releasing any footage of the arrest, claiming it could “jeopardize” the investigation, Fox News reports.
A public records request seeking bodycam and dashcam footage was turned down Thursday by the California Highway Patrol.

“The Public Records Unit (PRU) has determined the Department possesses records responsive to your request,” CHP said.
“However, the Napa County District Attorney’s Office has advised the release of records would jeopardize an ongoing investigation. As such, records are being withheld pursuant to Government Code section 6254 (f).”
The May 28 accident, in which Pelosi’s vehicle collided with a Jeep, resulted in Pelosi being cited for two DUI-related charges. He was charged with one count of driving under the influence and another for driving with a blood alcohol content level of 0.08 or higher, according to the New York Post.

On Thursday, Napa County District Attorney Allison Haley said Pelosi will appear on Aug. 3 in Napa County Superior Court and that is also when criminal charges will be presented if they are filed.
“The case is currently under review to decide what, if any, charges will be filed against Mr. Pelosi,” Haley said. “This is standard protocol for any DUI case that is referred by a law enforcement agency in Napa County.”
No injuries were reported in connection with the accident which took place as Pelosi was returning from a dinner party while Nancy Pelosi was out of town in Rhode Island.
Fox News host Jesse Watters noted on Friday, prior to the mugshot being released, that the case “pretty much has been buried from the public.”
Watters asserted that requests for information were being “stonewalled” by state officials and pointed out that his show had “gotten nothing but the runaround.”
“Paul is set to appear in court on August 3rd, but the D.A. still hasn’t decided if she’ll file charges. Will she?” Watters wrote, adding that “ this story has basically been ignored.”
“Even Mothers Against Drunk Driving has yet to make a statement on Pelosi’s reckless behavior. We’ve made multiple attempts to contact them in the past 48 hours, and they haven’t even responded to us. It’s kind of bizarre,” he wrote.
“It feels like there’s a serious effort to sweep Pelosi’s arrest under the rug, opening the lane for this D.A. to easily give him a pass thanks to his liberal privilege,” Watters said.
Watters is most certainly not wrong. We all know there won’t be any criminal charges and that Pelosi will receive nothing more than a slap on the wrist in the form of some measly fines.
Liberal privilege is the real privilege in America.

Hubby should have taken a hint from Nan and never drive after drinking. But then she has always taken advantage of her “status” and gets chauffeured anywhere she wants to go. I bet there’s a bar in her government provided limo and we know there is always at least a bar cart on the VIP plane(s) she uses to commune back and forth to California. A few years ago, I saw an article that reported her booze tab on those flights was in the thousands of dollars for one year.

This story shows just how lame Republican Party News is as they can’t find subjects of relevance or substance to challenge the Democratic narrative. Speaker Nancy was thousands of miles away doing the nations’ business when husband Paul made a bad decision or two.
