(Republican Party News) – Joe Biden has been crushing the US energy industry and tying their hands while simultaneously demanding they fix soaring gas prices. On top of that, he’s been begging foreign nations for more and more oil in a desperate attempt to save face ahead of the November midterm elections.
When it comes to the oil-rich Middle East, however, Biden has no clout and French President Emmanuel Macron has reportedly poured water on Biden’s plan to sweet talk Arab nations into increasing their oil output.
According to Newsweek, Macron spoke to Biden Monday at the G7 summit outside of their official capacities that was caught on camera.
“Excuse me, sorry to interrupt,” Macron said.
“I had a call with MbZ,” Macron said, which has been widely interpreted to mean United Arab Emirates leader Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed al-Nahyan, according to the Daily Mail.

This is a game-changing revelation since Biden was counting on Saudi Arabia & UAE. They were the only two OPEC nations perceived to have spare capacity.
Macron’s revelation means that it’s up to the U.S. to produce more oil, and soon, or the energy crisis will get much worse.

“He told me two things,” Macron said. “One, I’m at a maximum, maximum… This is what he claims.”
“Second, the Saudis can increase a little bit, by 150 [thousands barrels per day] or a little bit more, but they don’t have huge capacities at least before six months’ time,” he said.
Macron may have had more information to share but Jake Sullivan, Biden’s national security adviser, interrupted the conversation over concerns about cameras recording it, according to the New York Post.
“Careful. Maybe we should just step inside… because of the cameras,” Sullivan said. Nothing like good, ol’ Democrat transparency.
On Monday, the UAE issued a statement about its ability to produce more oil which isn’t good news for Biden and his plan.
“In light of recent media reports, I would like to clarify that the UAE is producing near to our maximum production capacity based on its current OPEC+ production baseline (3,168 mbopd [thousand barrels of oil per day]) which UAE is committed by until the end of the agreement,” UAE Energy Minister Suhail Al Mazrouei told state news agency WAM on Monday, according to Newsweek.

Instead of begging foreign nations for more oil, Biden needs to look to America’s own oil companies and allow them to do what they do best. Instead, he’s tied their hands through woke, green policies.
What’s even more maddening is that Biden is desperate to blame anyone he can for the gas prices crisis. When he’s not blaming Russian President Vladimir Putin, he’s slamming the oil companies for supposedly being “greedy” and raking in record profits instead of lowering gas prices.
Oil industry executives, however, aren’t taking the abuse from Biden lying down. Michael Wirth, chairman and CEO of Chevron, shot back at Biden’s assertions, saying Biden has made the situation worse.
“[Y]our Administration has largely sought to criticize, and at times vilify, our industry. These actions are not beneficial to meeting the challenges we face and are not what the American people deserve,” he wrote in a letter to Biden on June 21.
“Let’s work together. The American people rightly expect our country’s leaders and industry to address the challenges they are facing in a serious and resolute manner.”
The only problem is Biden’s efforts to bring down gas prices are only superficial. He’s only trying to lessen the blow the Democratic Party is going to feel after the midterm elections.
Biden is on a crusade to destroy America’s fossil fuel industry and while he’s been open about it, he’s also been outright lying about the entire situation.
Too bad that endeavor just isn’t more popular with the American people who are suffering every time they pull into the gas station.
If it were, he wouldn’t have to hide the fact that he’s actually the one who’s caused this crisis.
