White House Sends Out Official News Release… Blows Up In Joe Biden’s Face

(Republican Party News) – Before Joe Biden usurped the White House, he campaigned for the votes of the American people. During this time, he said this on Twitter:

“Here’s my promise to you: If I’m elected president, I will always choose to unite rather than divide. I’ll take responsibility instead of blaming others. I’ll never forget that the job isn’t about me — it’s about you.”

That tweet most certainly did not age well.

Ever since Biden took over the White House he has done nothing but pass the buck.

In the latest instance of Biden passing the buck, the White House put out an official press release in which he gave it to the American people straight and then blamed Putin.

This week gas prices have officially broken the record with a national average of $4.17 a gallon for regular gasoline. When a reporter asked Biden upon arrival at a naval air station in Westworth Village, Texas, “Mr. President, do you have a message for the American people on gas prices?” Biden nonchalantly responded, “They’re going to go up,” and added, “Can’t do much right now. Russia is responsible.”

This exchange was the subject of a White House press release which was shared on Twitter:

Not only does it just look bad to hear the man who is supposedly the president of the US tell the American people there isn’t anything he can do about the skyrocketing gas price crisis but on top of it, to blame Russia, it’s just downright shameful.

It’s especially shameful when you consider there is plenty his regime could do to bring gas prices down. He could, for example, start by harnessing the power of America’s energy sector rather than begging leaders of foreign countries for more oil.

The purpose of this bizarre press release isn’t quite clear. It certainly wasn’t meant to ease the concerns of the American people. At least, we’d hope not.

As if blaming Russia wasn’t enough for Biden. Earlier this week, on Tuesday, he asserted that claims his regime is responsible for the rising gas prices are just “simply not true.”

“It’s simply not true that my administration or policies are holding back domestic energy production,” Biden said. “That’s simply not true.”

“In the United States, 90 percent of onshore oil production takes place on land that isn’t owned by the federal government,” he continued. “Of the remaining 10 percent that occurs on federal land, the oil and gas industry has millions of acres leased.

“They have 9,000 permits to drill now. They could be drilling right now, yesterday, last week, last year. They have 9,000 to drill onshore that are already approved. So let me be clear. Let me be clear — they are not using them for production now. That’s their decision. These are the facts.”

However, according to Fox Business, American Petroleum Institute president and CEO Mike Sommers said the Biden administration’s attempt to blame oil companies for allegedly refusing to drill is misguided.

“This represents a fundamental misunderstanding as to how this process works,” Sommers said. “Once you lease land there is a whole process that you have to go through.

“First you have to actually discover whether there is oil and gas in that land. Second of all, you have to get a permit to actually develop that land. … Right now we actually are developing more leases than we have in two decades, so the White House certainly doesn’t have their facts straight on this.”

Furthermore, Biden issued an executive order pausing leasing for oil companies on federal lands, you know, in the name of fighting the so-called “climate crisis.”

It looks like despite his claims that he “can’t do much right now” and that his regime is not “holding back” domestic energy production, he could actually take action and lift this nonsense pause.

American Exploration & Production Council CEO Anne Bradbury told Fox that lifting the restriction would greatly benefit the country’s oil and gas situation.

Instead of taking this much needed action, Biden instead blames oil companies and Russia.

“That accusation is a complete red herring,” Bradbury said. “It’s really a distraction from the fact that this administration has paused leasing on federal lands, something that we’re concerned about and something that we think needs to continue right away.”

The White House can issue as many statements and press releases as they like and Biden can give as many incoherent, bumbling speeches as he can handle but the American people see right through their blatant lies.

It’s the Biden regime that has created and worsened this gas crisis and only the Biden regime. They have the power to fix it, they’re just choosing not to.

  1. It is really about limiting the ability of the American people to travel in their own country without government “permission” or knowledge of your whereabouts: (1) Make the price of oil and gas unaffordably high. (2) Use those high gas prices as the excuse to mandate the transition to electric vehicles, even THOUGH the “charging infrastructure” and generating capacity to power them DOES NOT EXIST. (3) Presto! Due to the limited range of EVs, and the lack of a widespread network of charging stations (never mind the LONG charging times and resulting LONG lines at charging stations that would exist if they WERE available), and you have effectively limited the ability of Americans to move freely about their own country, as well as set up a situation where you can track their every move through those government charging stations when the DO get around to creating said network of charging stations.

  2. Biden is responsible for all the prices going up not just gas. He is a nut case and should be removed from office pronto. He’s not capable of holding the job of president. None of the democrats have sense enough to run this country as it should be run. God help us. If you don’t we’re doomed.
