(Republican Party News) – Prepare to have your mind blown. New data released by the U.S. Customs and Border Protection agency reveals how high illegal border crossings have gone up at the Canadian-U.S. border. This is unbelievable. It just goes to show that the southern border isn’t the only problem with President Joe Biden’s “open border” strategy. This is an issue pretty much everywhere, and if we don’t get a hold on it soon, things are going to get much worse for the American people, both in security and economics.
As per a new report from ADN America, “In 2023, authorities halted over 12,000 migrants attempting illegal crossings at the Canadian border, marking a 240% increase from the preceding year when 3,579 individuals were apprehended. Approximately 70% of the illegal crossings took place in the Swanton Sector, a 295-mile stretch along the northern New York, Vermont, and New Hampshire border.”
“Border crossings from Canada into upstate New York, New Hampshire, and Vermont reached a historic high, with migrants capitalizing on understaffing and the absence of fencing along the northern border. According to a social media post by Robert Garcia, the chief patrol agent for the sector, 3,100 individuals from 55 different countries were apprehended,” the piece continued.
Liberals want to write off anyone concerned with illegal aliens slipping through the cracks and into our country as somehow being racist, but that isn’t true at all. There are people of all ethnicities, colors, creeds, and nations coming here without legal permission. All of them are law breakers who need to be sent back to their country of origin. Period.

“Additionally, he mentioned that the arrest of 10 Bangladeshi citizens was prompted by a citizen’s report in Champlain, New York. A significant number of those engaging in illegal crossings are Mexicans who exploit the opportunity to fly to Canada without a visa, also avoiding the presence of cartels in their home countries,” ADN America’s article read.
Experts are now suggesting that illegal aliens can buy a $350 one-way ticket from Mexico City or Cancun all the way to Montreal or Toronto. Why? Because taking this route comes with far less risk of being turned away compared to the southern border. It’s a work around.
The biggest factor in the increase of illegal crossings along the U.S.-Canada border is the fact that it is significantly longer than the one we share with Mexico, and as a result requires far more staff, which the CBP does not have. I wonder if they would have additional staff if we weren’t sending boat loads of money to Ukraine? Just a thought.
If we want to ensure that we have a true country of our own, we need to shut the front and back doors, locking them securely. The same principles that apply to keeping your home safe should be applied on a national level. In short, build the wall, enforce the law.
