(Republican Party News) – California Democratic Rep. Adam “Shifty” Schiff is up to his old tricks, stating recently that former President Donald Trump would once again be undermined by the intelligence community. This is further evidence the deep state has hooks buried within the flesh of every critical agency in government, politicizing them against who they deem to be the enemies of progress. Which is anyone who sees that the term “progress” is code for “authoritarianism.”
A new report from BizPac Review says, “With Trump closing in on the official status of the Republican Party nominee after he curb-stomped establishment darling Nikki Haley on Super Tuesday, the Deep State will be digging in by sabotaging the intelligence briefings provided to him, according to the scheming former head of the House Intelligence Committee.”
“The Democrat Senate hopeful appeared on Sunday’s edition of NBC’s ‘Meet the Press’ where he discussed his big win in last week’s Democrat primary against Los Angeles Dodgers legend Steve Garvey as well as the latest political developments and he told host Kristen Welker that Trump shouldn’t expect to be treated honestly by the IC,” the article continued.
“Let me ask you about this development this weekend. U.S. intelligence officials are planning to provide briefings for Donald Trump once he – if he – officially secures the nomination, despite the fact that he’s facing 40 felony charges for his handling of classified documents. As the former chair of the House Intelligence Committee, do you think it’s appropriate for him to receive intelligence briefings?” Welker asked, which provided Schiff with a perfect set up.

“Well, that is the practice. But we’ve never had a situation where one of the candidates for president has been so criminally negligent when it comes to handling – if not worse – when it comes to handling classified information,” the congressman responded. Conveniently, neither brought up the fact that Biden has had his own series of follies involving the handling of classified documents.
“So I have to hope, and knowing the intelligence community as I do, that they will dumb down the briefing for Donald Trump,” Schiff continued, once again hinting that the former president is a pawn of Putin. “That is, they will give him no more information than absolutely necessary, nothing that would reveal resources or methods because we can’t trust that he will do the right thing with that information. He’s been so reckless. So yes, it does concern me. It is part of a long tradition. They will be wary of what they share with him. And they should.”
Despite all the proof and debunking of the very fake Russian collusion nonsense, Schiff is still pushing this narrative. He’s a hopeless “yes man” isn’t he?
The comments from Schiff come just a few days after former CIA director John Brennan made an appearance on MSNBC and demanded that the Intelligence Community not provide briefings to the presidential nominee, a custom that has existed for over 70 years now.

“Now, I’m pretty certain my former intelligence colleagues will provide briefings that are not going to do any type of damage to sources and methods in terms of providing information to Donald Trump that he could misuse,” the former CIA boss said to Nicolle Wallace.
“But they will provide analytic overviews about some of the hot spots letting Donald Trump know what the assessments are at this point,” the thuggish Brennan commented. “I think it’s going to be analysis that will be devoid of the sources and methods, the sensitive things that we are most concerned about, the types of things that were in all those documents that he had in the bathroom and all those areas in Mar-a-Lago… And I’m sure that if he does accept them, he will disparage them, as he has disparaged the U.S.”
Is it any wonder voters no longer trust three-letter agencies and often consider them to be the enemies of our republic? The most serious danger we face to our way of life is not from outside countries, but those in our own backyard.
“A recent survey by Rasmussen Reports shows that 52 percent of voters ‘believe it’s likely that U.S. intelligence agencies are seeking to control the outcome of the 2024 presidential election, including 31% who consider it Very Likely,’ a result that indicates a growing skepticism about the real intentions of the agencies, a stunning collapse of public faith,” the article added.

The Rasmussen Poll stated that 64 percent of American voters believe the messaging coming through major media outlets is being controlled by intelligence agencies, and thanks to Schiff and Brennan, I’d say that number is going to increase.
