(Republican Party News) – Former President Donald Trump’s classified documents trial just got postponed indefinitely, handing him a YUGE victory that is sure to send the radical left into absolute hysterics. Are you all sick of winning yet? I hope not, because this is just the beginning, folks. Just the beginning.
According to The Western Journal, Trump was charged with storing classified documents improperly at his Mar-a-Lago estate, located in Florida. The former president’s trial was originally scheduled to start May 20th, CNBC says.
“The ruling from U.S. District Judge Aileen Cannon scraps that date and sets a new slate of pretrial activities that begin Wednesday and continue through July 22,” the report added. “The ruling does not set a date for the trial. Cannon wrote that it ‘would be imprudent’ to finalize a trial date ‘at this juncture’ when various pretrial issues have yet to be resolved.”
The ruling also went on to say that additional time is required “to permit adequate time for hearings and adjudication of substantive pretrial motions, discovery disputes, and CIPA issues, many of which present novel and difficult questions.” In case you don’t know, CIPA is an acronym that’s short for the Classified Information Procedures Act.
Another big issue that needs to be tackled and a solution reached is how classified information would be handled during the trial itself, saying, “additional pretrial and trial preparations necessary to present this case to a jury.”
The judge then said that a date of May 20th would be “inconsistent with the Court’s duty to fully and fairly consider” those issues.
“The Court therefore vacates the current May 20, 2024, trial date (and associated calendar call), to be reset by separate order following resolution of the matters before the Court, consistent with Defendants’ right to due process and the public’s interest in the fair and efficient administration of justice,” Cannon stated in the ruling.
A piece from ABC divulged that the mastermind behind the whole trial, Special Counsel Jack Smith, has not issued any comment on the judge’s decision.

This move indicates that this case will NOT go to trial before Election Day, essentially nullifying the case if Trump were to win, who could then pardon himself and end this charade.

You just know Smith is blowing steam out of his ears about the ruling, as he was hoping to really build his career off seeing Trump convicted and preventing him from getting another term in the Oval Office. That, unfortunately for Smith, is not happening the way he wanted it to.
“Last week, Smith’s team revealed that at some point after boxes of documents were seized from Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate, the order of the documents changed, which the court did not learn about until now,” the report noted. “But the detail is a big deal, because part of Trump’s defense is expected to be that documents were packed in chronological order, with no regard for classification marking, according to Just the News.”
