(Republican Party News) – Ohio Republican Rep. Jim Jordan is so angry he’s just about ready to go full Hulk smash after it was revealed that President Joe Biden has secretly imported China’s social credit scoring system over to the United States in an effort to finally put free speech and gun rights in a six foot hole. I think we should all be joining Jordan in his outrage over these infringements of our rights. God gives us our rights, not man. The government, therefore, has no legitimate authority to take away any of the freedoms God grants to us as His image bearers.
For those who might not be aware, the communist country of China utilizes an online-based system to keep its citizens in line and ensure they walk in lockstep with the beliefs of the “elites” who rule over them in their bloated, invasive government.
“This system gives Chinese citizens a score that then allows them access to restaurants, to purchase goods, get into schools and every manner of access to public life. The lower the score, the fewer freedoms and benefits you are allowed,” The Western Journal reports.
“Like private credit scores, a person’s social score can move up and down depending on their behavior,” Business Insider went on to explain.
“The system also elicits the participation of others to rate you. Your ‘social credit’ can be harmed if you are seen by others smoking in a non-smoking zone after they report you to authorities, if you are seen driving badly by police or other citizens, if you buy too many video games, or if you share things on social media that the government does not like. Things like this can drive a citizen’s score down which, in turn, limits their access to services and society,” the piece continued.
And that’s not all. The system also allows people to report companies, so you run the risk of losing your livelihood if you don’t follow the program closely. And that is exactly the kind of thing liberals here in the United States want to bring to the shores of our country. Why? Because they believe that they have the right ideology to help perfect mankind and build a utopian society. However, it requires everyone to be in lockstep with this set of doctrines, and that’s going to be impossible without some way of silencing opposition and forcing all those in the country to go along with it, so to speak. That’s where this social credit stuff comes in.
“Thus far, some of the punishments that the government has begun to hand out to those who fall too low on their social credit score are to restrict their travel, prevent them from being able to buy business-class or first-class train tickets, or ban them from being able to book a hotel room. Low scores also put them on no-hire list for all but the lowest and most undesirable jobs,” the WJ says, going on to add, “The government also throttles the Internet for people with bad scores, preventing them from seeing videos or uploading large files.”
That, my friends, is a form of censorship. They’ve identified you as a troublemaker and want to ensure you aren’t being fed messages through online content that subvert their belief system and that you are not making similar content. All for the greater good, of course.
If you happen to have a low social credit score, best of luck getting into a university. Yes, they will even destroy your future too, if you aren’t a good little robot. Have a cute dog or cat? You can lose the privilege of owning an animal if your score is too low. They will actually take them away from you if you already have one. In other words, there’s nothing they won’t do to keep their citizens in line.
“China is already proving how oppressive such a system is. And now, as Republican Congressman Jim Jordan has warmed, Joe Biden has secretly started just such a system here in the U.S.A. by forcing banks and financial institutions to monitor and report Americans who exercise their Constitutional rights to free speech and the Second Amendment,” the article reads.
If a person buys things that are connected to the words “Trump” or “MAGA,” or Christian items, or purchases any sort of guns, ammo, or accessories, they are considered to be potential threats who need to be flagged and reported to the president’s monitoring agencies. If that doesn’t send a chill down your spine, I don’t know what will.
“Jordan discovered that banks including Bank of America, Chase, U.S. Bank, Wells Fargo, Citi Bank and Truis are working with the Biden U.S. Treasury Department’s Financial Crimes Enforcement Network and the FBI, according to a report by the Daily Mail,” the WJ divulged.
“Indeed, Bank of America specifically began sending to the FBI the firearms-related purchases of their customers because they were automatically deemed to be “extremists” simply based on the purchases. At least four customers of the hundreds the bank tracked were investigated by the FBI with “criminal background queries,” all based on their private financial histories that were not amassed with a subpoena,” it adds.
The news outlet then went on to say that Charles Schwab, HSBC, MUFG, PayPal, Santander, Standard Chartered and Western Union are being informed they need to hand over documents to these “spy agencies” concerning the activities of American citizens. All of this is being done without a warrant or any sort of prior suspicions.
Jordan and the House Committee pointed out, “The Committee and Select Subcommittee remain concerned about how and to what extent federal law enforcement and financial institutions continue to spy on Americans by weaponizing backdoor information sharing and casting sprawling classes of transactions, purchase behavior, and protected political or religious expression as potentially ‘suspicious’ or indicative of ‘extremism.’”
“This kind of warrantless financial surveillance raises serious concerns about the federal government’s respect for Americans’ privacy and fundamental civil liberties,” Jordan asserted. “The federal government is building profiles on the American people. And the profile is not based on criminal conduct, it’s based on political belief.”
“And if you’ve got the wrong political beliefs, well you’re potentially a domestic violent extremist,” he continued.
It’s important to point out that the Fourth Amendment of our Constitution forbids “unreasonable searches and seizures” and ensures the “right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects.”
What Joe Biden is doing goes against all of the values and principles of our great country. As Captain America once said, “This isn’t freedom. This is fear.”
